Together, they raised five children: Jason, Heather, Kyle, David, and Anna in their Cedar Flat’s home until her untimely death in June of 1987. Despite his devastating loss, Roy continued to be a devoted father, provider, and churchgoer. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and ride horses- fast. Roy was so creative and gifted in self-sustaining. He was an avid reader and could figure out almost any problem. After his retirement, he enjoyed working on his ranch, building new and innovative things, and collecting. In his final chapter of life, Roy bravely battled dementia.
Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
