Obituary of Tony Lynning Toftemark

Tony Toftemark was born in Tuede, Denmark to Aage and Katrina Toftemark July 25, 1932.  He with his parents, brother, Svend and sister, Inge immigrated to the U.S. in 1948.  After living in L.A. for a short time they moved to Eugene, Oregon where he completed high school and was recruited for work for the telephone company.  He worked there 41 years.

He married, Sharon Medart in 1986.  He spent many years traveling, cross country skiing with her and sailing trips with his brother, Svend.

He has left behind two daughters, Kari Wiant (Jerry) and Karen Holtz (Kevin), six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Tony passed July 28, 2023.  A Funeral Service will be held August 3rd, 2023 at West Lawn Memorial Chapel at 1pm.
