Obituary of Arthur Clifton Munson III

Arthur “Trace” Clifton Munson III.

Born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on 5/16/1997 and passed away in Talent, Oregon on June 8, 2023.

Though he left this world far too soon, he left this world a better place. Trace graduated from Pleasant Hill Highschool in 2015.

Trace joined the Army National Guard and achieved the rank of Sergeant during his eight years of service. While he was not fond of the idea of traditional jobs, he was passionate in helping others and was able to do so while working with different task forces through federal, state and local law enforcement.

Trace loved spending time with family and friends, he loved playing video games, reading books, and going on adventures. He was never afraid to try something new. He was a great son, brother, and friend! 

Trace is survived by his mother and stepfather, Annette Sharee & Robert Bloomfield as well as his father Arthur Munson; Grandparents - Anita Goins and Linda & Joe Munson; siblings Allyson Westbrook, Ariel Melton, & Joseph Bloomfield; Brother-in-Law Thomas Melton; as well as his nieces and nephews, Blair, Michael, Forrest & Evalynn; and a great many other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Charles “Papa” Goins Jr. 

A memorial service with military honors will be held for Sgt. Arthur Clifton "Trace" Munson III at the Musgrove Funeral Home at West Lawn Memorial Park located at 225 S Danebo Ave, Eugene, OR, 97402. The service will commence on Friday July 7th at 2pm. All friends and family are invited to attend and help honor our son Trace's life and service to our Country.
