Obituary of Leona Cordell
Leona Cordell, age 95, passed away on June, 11, 2023. She was born in Watertown South Dakota on May 20, 1928 to Peter and Louise Lindner. She grew up with six brothers and three sisters on a farm, then after high school, she met Leslie A. Cordell and was married in 1947. William Cordell, her oldest son, was born on October 19, 1949, then Anthony Cordell was born October 19, 1951, Clifford James followed on March 6, 1954, Timothy David was born on March 30, 1957, then finally Randal Allen on October 6, 1964. She was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband in June of 2005 and her son Clifford in 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30th at 1:15pm at West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home, 225 S. Danebo Ave.
