Obituary of Tom F Wilson

Tom F. Wilson of Springfield, Oregon passed away at age 81 on June 6, 2023. Tom was born in Prairie City, OR in January 1942 to Jane and Dow Wilson. Tom grew up with his two brothers in John Day, OR engaging his love for sports, fishing and the outdoors. A graduate of Boise Junior College, Tom owned and operated M-W Coffee Service in Springfield, OR for 47 years known as one of the first and longest running office coffee services in the Pacific Northwest. In 1979 Tom married the love of his life; the two recently celebrated 44 years of union. Tom is survived by his wife Leslie, 3 children Darcy, Loni and James and 4 grandchildren. Tom will be most remembered for his kind, loving nature and deep dedication to friends, family and community. A Celebration of Life in memory of Tom will be held on July 15, 2023 at 11am at the Springfield Memorial Funeral Home at 7305 Main St. in Springfield. In honor of Tom’s love of reading, and in lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to the Friends of the Springfield Public Library.
