Obituary of Christopher Cracolice
Born to Colette Alexander and Charles Richens, Chris was the first born of 7 children. At the age of 5, Chris was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and although he missed out on things as a child, he never felt sorry for himself; he is remembered by his siblings as always being the funny, caring, easy going big brother.
In 1980 Chris and his first wife, Regina, welcomed their first child Kimberly Day, then 8 months later, they welcomed their second daughter Trisha Michelle, who was born 2 month premature. Chris and Regina took a short break before welcoming their third and final child, Jeffery Chase, in 1983. Chris was remarried on May 11th of 1991 to Martha Hammerton.
Seeking to strengthen his relationship with his heavenly father and bring his family together spiritually, Chris reconnected with his brothers and sisters in Christ through The Way International. Although Chris enjoyed fishing, tinkering with vehicles and electronics, the outdoors, crafting and interior design, he was very passionate about the ministry; Chris took great joy in hosting, leading and giving fellowship teachings. It was his love and faith that saw him through not only the passing of his daughter Trisha in 2010, but also his life long battle with diabetes and the many health challenges following a traumatic motovehicle accident. Doctors doubted Chris would survive that accident and he proved them wrong. Time and time again, when doctors would say no or never, Chris would say his God was bigger, and prove them wrong again. Chris never doubted his Heavenly Father and never asked "why me?" In fact, he always said " God has always been so good to me"
Chris fell asleep peacefully in his home the morning of May 7th, 2023, he is survived by his mother Colette; siblings Dawnie, Tonya, Craig, Tim, Tony and Tiffany; children Kimberly and Jeffery; former spouses Regina and Martha; many, many neices and nephews, and canine companion Parker.
