Obituary of Marvin Gene Wiley
Marvin Wiley age 93 passed away April 5th at home under the care of Cascade Hospice with his children by his side.
Marvin was born February 4th, 1930, in Ohio where he lived until moving his family to Oregon to fulfill his passion for fishing, hunting, golf and Ducks football.
He is survived by his 4 children Gene Wiley, Susan Thompson, (Gary), Michele Potts (Ken), Carol Albas, brother Ray, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was the proud owner of The Embers since 1967, as well as The side Pocket Tavern.
He was an army veteran who served in the Korean war 1948 – 1952 where he was awarded the C.I.B. and 3 bronze stars fighting in battles at Chosin, Inchon and Heartbreak Ridge.
He never heard a joke he didn’t enjoy and loved telling them to anyone that would listen!
