We are so sorry to hear that Janet passed. We feel so blessed that we got to visit her last year while she was still healthy and vibrant! We loved Janet and send prayers to the family in this time of grief.

Janet was a fireball, full of energy. We go back as far as Junior High. At Lennox High we were cheerleaders. Janet was the Yell Queen, Senior Year Homecoming Princess, and a good student. We truly were life long friends. Don and I send our sympathy to her family.

I cannot remember what year Janet and I (and twin brother, Jeff) first shared a classroom, but it was surely at Jefferson Elementary in Lennox, Cal. See her 6th Grade photo nearby. Her family and mine lived on Mansel Ave., in Lennox. I have fond memories of occasionally walking with her to attend a Sunday service at Bethany Baptist Church. I've forever had a warm spot in my heart for Janet, and it saddens me that she succumbed to cancer in what seemed like the peak of her life. Goodbye, my good friend.
