Dorothy Faye (Salisbury) Posvar passed away on December 4, 2022 in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 92 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles, and her son, Raymond. She is survived by her two daughters Linda (Campbell) and Connie (Tapp), and her granddaughters Jeannie and Cathy, and her sister Anita Smith. Dorothy was born in Buffalo, Montana and her family moved to Coburg, Oregon when she was 6 years old. She worked the family farm after school hours, graduated from Coburg High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She married Charles Posvar in 1948 and they had 3 children. Dorothy loved her family and was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She worked nearly 30 years at EWEB as an accounting clerk. She was a talented painter and painted many paintings for her family.
In addition to her love of family, she loved the Oregon Ducks and playing UNO with her daughters. She was a big Seattle Mariners fan and enjoyed the time she and Raymond saw them in person in Seattle. Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary. She was buried at West Lawn Memorial Park and no public service is planned.
