Obituary of David Vollbrecht

David Vollbrecht, born November 19, 1946, of Violet and LeRoy Vollbrecht, died October 23, 2022.  David is survived by his brother, Mark, beloved wife, Patricia; children Christina and Michael and six grandchildren. 

David grew up in Buena Park and attended Buena Park High School.  David met and married Paddy (Patricia) in 1967, moved to Oregon in 1971.  David was a meticulous solution seeker.  He played with hot rods, flew planes, drove commercially, and even spent hours boating in the Pacific Northwest.  

David's capability as a computer programmer made him a valued asset and leader in organizations ranging from Balzhiser-Hubbard Engineering, McKenzie-Willamette Hospital, River Road Medical Group, and Shriners Hospital, Portland, Oregon.

David also owned several successful businesses and he and his wife eventually retired from Watchful Eye Investigations, a private investions service.  They were also Board members of teh Oregon Association of Licensed Investigators (OALI).
