Karen Annette Guthrie passed away from natural causes in Eugene, OR at the age of 61. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Keith Guthrie, and her parents, Alice Faye and Liman Guthrie. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Galloway, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

 

Karen lived most of her life in Rodeo, California and enjoyed enduring relationships with a wide circle of friends and family. She gracefully adapted to a disability early in life and did not let it slow her down. She liked learning new things, making gifts and handicrafts, and enjoyed country music.

 

Karen’s remains will be laid to rest at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, California on September 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the National Diabetes Prevention Program, the Digestive Health Foundation or a charity of your choice.
