Lillian Willcock, a longtime resident of Eugene, OR passed away on July 28th, 2022, at the age of 88. Lillian is survived by her husband of 30 years, Duane Willcock, daughter Susie Moi, grandchildren Andy, Brittany, Emily, Kelsey, and great grandchildren, Audrey, Ava, Bailey, Brooklyn, and Kiyah. Along with many other friends and family. Lillian was predeceased by her twin sister Lucille Lauffenberger, brother William Dalluge Jr., and son Steven Loper.
Lillian, a graduate from Springfield high school in 1952, began her 35-year career at Pacific Northwest Bell shortly after. Lillian was a pillar in her community, earning volunteer of the month from United Way in August of 2005 for her 18 years of volunteer work with Food for Lane County. She also volunteered at Riverbend Hospital for 14 years crocheting baby blankets and bonnets for premature newborn babies. Lillian’s interests included, golfing, bowling, traveling in her 5th wheel with Dewey, and reading a good book. Her life was most fulfilled while helping those in need and captivating her friends and family with an endless supply of hilarious anecdotes.
Lillian touched many lives with her kindness and lighthearted spirit. She will be greatly missed by many. A celebration of life will be held September 18th, 2022, at the Dorris Ranch national historic site, at 1pm. Lillian’s family hopes to celebrate her with all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
