Obituary of Frances Goldie Olson

Frances (Sue) Olson passed away peacefully at home, on July 30th, 2022. Preceded in death by husband Robert J Olson and brother John W Perry. Frances is survived by her son Steven O Olson and grandchildren Jessica M Olson, Nicholas T Olson, and Violet A Olson.
Frances was very proud of her Native American heritage. She was a Lower Umpqua of the confedered tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indian tribes.
Frances was quite involved over the years with various tribal commitees and did extensive research into her tribal history. She was a self-taught beadist and passed on her skills to many others.   Her family and friends will miss her.
