Obituary of Elva Grace Nelson

Elva Grace Nelson was born on October 10, 1924 in East Laurinburg, North Carolina to Gordon & Katherine (Stedman) Gales.
She was a receptionist for Sacred Heart Hospital for many years.  She was a kind and loving wife, mother and friend.  She loved to travel to Palm Springs in the winter and enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by her loving son, Rodney Williams, numerous grand children, great-grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Samuel McCauley.
Join Elva’s family as they gather to celebrate her life on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2 pm, at Lane Memorial Funeral Home.  She will be inurned at Lane Memorial Gardens.
