Obituary of Kay "Kitty" Knight

Kay ‘Kitty’ Knight was born on December 23, 1945 to Lawrence and Elizabeth Peckels. She began her Heavenly life on Easter, April 17, 2022. Kay was proceeded in death by her father, mother, brother John, sister Barbara and two nieces. Kay is survived by her son David Knight, daughters Kathy Bowman (Tim) and Jamie Darr (Scott), twin sister Nella Sink, brothers Richard Peckels and Jody Peckels, and grandchildren - Rachel, Michael, Marcus, Chris, Brandi, McKenzie, Hunter and 9 great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Kay enjoyed listening to music and as a child, she loved singing songs with her sister. She especially loved classic gospel music and country. She loved watching movies from the Hallmark Channel to the Old West and Wagon Train. Camping was a favorite past time, especially because she was with her family. Trips to Fern Ridge Lake or the beach were places she loved to be. Crocheting became a fun hobby for her as she enjoyed creating gifts for her family and friends. This faithful and beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend loved her close ones deeply and cared tremendously. Kay was a fighter until the end and those who knew and loved her will treasure her memory and gift of love forever.
