Obituary of Cleone Bain

Cleone passed away on March 19th 2022. She was born in Oakridge Oregon on October 11th 1932 to Luther and Inez Rogers. She grew up on Rogers Lane in Oakridge. She married Basil Bain on May 30th 1948. They promptly moved to Morningstar Road in Creswell and started raising kids on the Family Farm. Mom had her hands full doing what she loved, taking care of her family  by cooking and cleaning, taking her children to sports events, doctors appointments, hospitals Etc. She especially loved  spending time with her kids, grandkids, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She had many hobbies including knitting, crocheting and watching Westerns on TV. She also filled in where needed on the farm with milking cows, feeding calves, driving hay and silage trucks, amongst many more other tasks. Cleone drove a school bus for Pleasant Hill School District for 10 years in the 60s and 70s as well as being a longtime member of Creswell Nazarene Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Basil, and daughter Valerie. Cleone Is survived by four sons; Lloyd, Dan, Ken, and Roger(Shorty), Ten grandchildren, Twenty one great-grandchildren and one great great grandkid. A Funeral Service will be held at Lane Memorial Funeral Home, 5300 West 11th Ave, Eugene, OR 97402,  April 1st at 1:00pm.
