Obituary of Sharon Marie (Lewis) Ficke

Sharon Marie (Lewis) Ficke went home to her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2021, at the age of 80. She lived in Eugene her whole life. Sharon was the daughter of Ray and Jeannette Lewis.  She was the first graduating class of North Eugene High School.  She met her husband (Dave) on a blind date a friend set up.  He spent 4 hours in his car asking Sharon to marry him and she finally said just give me the ring and I will wear it for a while to decide.  They got married June 1^st of 1963 and were married 45 years. Sharon loved to play card games and frequented the Campbell Senior Center of Eugene to play pinochle there.   They had a daughter (Shelley) who got married to Rich in 1988 and had Twins Richelle & Riley born in 2002.  Sharon loved spending time with her grandkids. Sharon attended church for 25 years at Santa Clara Church.  She also attended Bible Study Fellowship as well for 20 years.  Sharon’s husband passed in Nov. of 2011. She is survived by her siblings: Ted Lewis, Corine Roach, Robert Lewis, Jan Thompson and Beverly Burke.  She will be intrusted to Musgrove Memorial in their indoor mausoleum.  West Lawn Memorial.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
