It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Francalancia at the early age of fifty-nine. Steve was born on November 1, 1962, in Denver, Colorado to Pat Francalancia and Marilyn Silk. After graduating from High School in Eugene, OR. Steve worked for Chuck Pape at Rent-a-Volks for 20 years before pursuing a career as an electrician with Omlid and Swinney. Steve was so full of life and love. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, being outdoors and tinkering in his garage. Steve poured his heart and soul into his family, work, and church. There was not anything he could not do. Steve touched the lives of everyone he met and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel especially important and special. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, and would defend and stand up for the ones he loved. He kept us safe.
Steve leaves behind the love of his life of 33 years Sheri; his daughters Caitlin, Nicole Kyle (Matt), Cari Dupre (Sean); his grandchildren Trenton, Jared, Maddison, and Kaylee; his Father Pat (Charlotte), Mother Marilyn, stepfather Lloyd Harper; his brothers Tom (Julie), Chuck (Jenny) and Brad (Jenny); his sister Gina (Leslie); his nieces, nephews, and grand pups Dolly, Covi, and Luna.
A celebration of life will be held on January 8, 2022 at Harrisburg Christian Church at 1:00. Arrangements by Murphy Musgrove Funeral Home in Junction City. You are invited to sign the guestbook at musgroves.com.
