Obituary of Joseph Michael Geraci

Joseph Geraci passed away 11/11/2021 at the age of 73. He was born 1/9/1948 in Oakland, CA to Mary and Michael Geraci. Joe is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Claudia; his sister, Martha (Pete); his daughters Gina, Nicole (John), and Jessica (Ryan); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, and dear cousins.
Joe graduated from Richmond Union HS class of ‘66. He was a naval veteran who served on the USS Arlington during the Vietnam War. In his earlier years, he was a journeyman ship fitter at Alameda and San Francisco Shipyards. He built and repaired naval ships and worked on top secret projects for the navy. Joe practiced Kung Fu for over 7 years and loved martial arts for a lifetime. He also loved music and dancing with his wife; watching football and boxing; shooting at the range and golfing; a good cigar; and barbequing for his family. 
Joe will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Happy Valley, OR on 12/2/21 at 1pm. Gathering to follow.
