Lois Marilyn Lund passed away in her home on December 17, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born May 19, 1932 in Marinette Wisconsin to Emil and Gertrude Blom. She married John “Jack” Lund in May of 1951. They were married for 51 years.
Shortly after their marriage, Lois and Jack moved to Oregon and raised their family here. Lois was well loved and loved well her entire life. She touched many lives over the years and will be remembered for her cheerful and giving nature. She made friends wherever she went and loved people in general.
She loved the Lord and serving others. Lois developed deep friendships and served over many years in her church and in the local grange. She cherished her family and left a great legacy. She will be deeply missed.
Lois also enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, creating flower arrangements, making candy (peanut brittle was her specialty!), hosting friends and family and participating in Bunko and other card groups.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2002, her parents Emil and Gertrude Blom and her brother Emil Blom. She is survived by her brother Alan (Syliva) Blom of Menominee, MI, son Steve Lund (Linda) of Junction City, OR, son Mike Lund of Sterling, AK, daughter Lynnette Runyon (David) of Tigard, OR, daughter Tami Southerland of Eugene, OR, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for Saturday, February 6th at 1pm at River Road Baptist Church, 1105 River Road, Eugene, Oregon.
