She and her sister, Wilma, were raised on a farm in Colorado by their grandparents. Upon their passing, two bachelor uncles took up the task. Theodore (Hick) and Roy (Fatty) quickly nicknamed them Jack and Petey, names that stayed for life--becoming Aunt Jackie and Auntie Pete. While Jack learned about farming and working the fields, Pete learned to cook. She loved sharing stores from when they were growing up.
She worked in a bank for over 30 years. Loved to travel, read work crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loved planning Family Christmas where sometimes as many as 40 of us would get together for a weekend of fun, coming from Oregon, Washington and California.
She is preceded in death by husband, Don Ham and her son, Larry; a brother, Red; sister Wilma and brother-in-law, Marv Winslow.
She is survived by husband; LeRoy Moore; son, Dennis; and daughters; Linda and Connie. Grandchildren, Brian, Landon, Deven, Anthony, Tressa, Trina and DonNell; nephews, Duane, Butch and Wally; as well as many great and great-great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Many made the trip from far and wide to let know what she meant in their lives, to let know how much she was loved and to say goodbye. She was a blessing to all those she touched.
