Jennifer Ann Wilder, 50, of Eugene, OR, passed away on May 25, 2020
Jennifer was born in Kansas City, MO on October 25, 1969. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1988. She went on to earn a degree in Telecommunications from DeVry University.
Jennifer was smart and funny and giving and kind. She dreamed of finding ways to help those living in food deserts get access to good healthy fresh foods. She strongly believed that healthcare is a human right and volunteered for Healthcare For All Oregon.
She believed in the healing power of nature and sought those wonders in the forests of Oregon. Jennifer loved going to the coast, especially the dunes and feeling the awesome power of the ocean. She loved spending time in nature and reveling in its wonder.
Jennifer was a dog-a-holic. She never met a dog she didn’t like and was the “pack leader” of her crew. She was a huge football fan and one of her greatest highlights was watching her beloved Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV. They could probably hear her cheering all the way from Kansas City!
Jennifer is survived by her wife, Lenore Beauchamp of Eugene, OR, her mother Judith Wilder of Mission, KS, her brother Thomas Wilder (Karen) of Olathe, KS, and 2 nieces and one nephew.
