Betty June Jandt

Betty June Jandt was born In Beach North Dakota as the oldest of five children to

parents Ed and Evelyn Kvech. She is preceded in death by Sisters Donna Faught,

Anna Curry, brother Robert Kvech and her husband Eugene Jandt. She is survived

by her sister Mary Thompson and her beloved son Greg Jandt. She is also a Polio

survivor.

Betty met and married Eugene Vern Jandt also from Beach North Dakota and

moved to Eugene Oregon in the early 1950's. She worked for 33 years for Pacific

Bell then retired. She then worked for Saint Mark's church for 30 years.

Betty was a great singer influencing her son in music. She had an unparalleled

kindness and empathy for others particularly in her 30-year tenure working for

Saint Marks. She gave to many charities particularly Catholic, sponsoring 2

children from Guatemala for food and schooling. She was an avid reader with a

sharp mind till her recent death. She will be greatly missed
